Find me on:

A great-grandmother visited relatives this spring and found that the children were playing on a cheaply made metal playset that they had outgrown many years earlier.  She did her research into many different playset manufactures and chose Backyard Adventures because of the quality and price.  She worked with Rachel over several weeks to design the perfect playground for her great-grandchildren.  Like most of our customers, she wanted a completely custom playset.  No cookie-cutter, big-box store, one-size-fits-all mass manufactured playset for her.  Because there is no manufacturer who knows her great-grandchildren better than her.

Room was not an issue.  The family yard was huge.  However, with children under 7-years-old, she didn't want to go too high, so she chose the Jumbo Treehouse series with its large deck 6' off the ground.  She didn't want to leave the toddlers out of the fun, so she added a smaller 5' sundeck with an easy climbing gangplank which doubles as a dog ramp for the adorable miniature Dachshund.  The rockwall was added to give the children something to challenge and improve their confidence and motor skills.  She topped it off with the side-by-side 12' slides for racing.

This great-grandmother didn't forget about mom either.  Since the sundeck came with a sandbox, she added a full-sized picnic table under the Jumbo Tower where adults could sit under the shade while the kids played.  She also made sure mom and baby had a swing to sit in and enjoy the outdoors with everyone else.

This playset was shipped on two 12' long pallets, weighs in at over 2,400lbs and it took our team of professional installers two days to install.  This included setup, sanding and staining dings from shipping, and trash cleanup and haul away.  This playground will last for many years and bring a lot of happiness to many generations of children.
